Did you know Alpine has been doing digital recordings of cultural resources in the field for over a decade? 
Our field teams use a customized database that contains information specific to the regions where Alpine works, streamlining the preparation of site forms and report preparation. Alpine’s Production Coordinator and IT Specialist, Megan Carny Reed is the lead designer of the database, with support from our Data Services Department and Project Archaeologists. Last week, Megan led a training to discuss updates to the database and train new staff. Maintaining the database and training our staff allows Alpine to better serve our clients.
